Mental health is a cornerstone of youth empowerment, yet stigma, lack of resources, and societal pressures often hinder open conversations. The Youth Exchange “Colours of Wellbeing” uses colours, a universal and creative medium, to spark dialogue, self-reflection, and action towards improving mental wellbeing. Through interactive activities, participants will explore how colours influence emotions, behaviours, and overall mental health, fostering a deeper understanding of themselves and their peers.

Eligibility is limited to applicants from: Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Austria and Portugal.
Eligible age: 15 to 30 years old. ( youth leader over 30 years old)
Accommodation and food covered – 3 meals – 2 coffee breaks

“Colours of Wellbeing” is an engaging and transformative youth exchange programme designed to promote mental health and overall well-being. Recognising the critical role of mental health in youth empowerment, this initiative addresses the barriers of stigma, limited resources, and societal pressures that often hinder open conversations about mental health.
Using colours as a universal and creative medium, the programme encourages dialogue, self-reflection, and meaningful action. Through interactive activities, participants explore the profound connection between colours and emotions, gaining insights into how colours influence feelings, behaviours, and mental health.
This youth exchange adopts a holistic approach to well-being, equipping young people with the tools to prioritise mental health, reduce stigma, and build resilience. Participants are invited to use colour as a lens to better understand and express their experiences, emotions, and aspirations.
By blending creative expression with practical well-being practices, “Colours of Wellbeing” creates a supportive space for young people to connect, reflect, and take actionable steps towards fostering mental health and resilience—both for themselves and their communities.
