What's about...

The Training Course “Inclusion in Action: Gen(der)eration Equality” revolves around the theme of intersectional gender equality and inclusive policy development

It brings together youth workers, educators, and social professionals from across Europe to explore how gender inequality intersects with other forms of discrimination — such as those based on disability, socio-economic status, ethnicity, rural background, or sexual and gender identity. Through dialogue, workshops, and peer learning, participants deepen their understanding of these interconnected challenges and learn to apply intersectional approachesin their work.

The program emphasizes analyzing existing policies, developing innovative and inclusive solutions, and fostering cooperation among professionals working with marginalized youth groups. Ultimately, it aims to empower participants to promote gender equality and social inclusion within their local and professional contexts

Objectives...

  • Provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of gender equality, emphasizing the intersection of gender with factors such as disability, socio-economic background, ethnicity, and geographical location.

  • Create a platform for dialogue, exchange, and peer learning among youth workers and professionals from diverse social and cultural contexts.

  • Strengthen participants’ capacity to evaluate existing policies, apply intersectional analyses, and develop innovative approaches to address gender inequality.

  • Promote inclusive practices and the active participation of marginalized youth groups in social and civic life.

  • Encourage international cooperation and solidarity among organizations working toward equality, inclusion, and human rights.
